Child Behaviour Development

What is Child Behaviour Development ?

As children grow, challenging behaviours can be a normal aspect of their growth and testing of limits. However, if the behaviours persist or have a negative impact on welfare and daily functioning, there may be some underlying issues that need to be addressed. In most situations, demanding or unpleasant behaviour is your child's method of conveying an underlying need.

This examination can assist in determining the underlying function of your child's behaviour and the elements that may be perpetuating it. We can then create a positive behaviour support plan to help with behavioural improvements. This behavioural evaluation package is also useful for controlling problematic behaviours in the setting of Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delay, or other learning disabilities.

What is included in the examination ?

⇒    A parent interview, as well as a review of your child's developmental and family history, as well as any current problems.

⇒    Analysis of data records of observed behaviour gathered by teachers and caregivers during a 2-4 week period.

⇒    Observe your youngster at school or in another natural situation.

⇒    Standardized behavioural surveys were conducted in collaboration with parents and teachers (CONNORS Comprehensive Behavioural Rating Scale).

⇒    A feedback session will be held to discuss the findings and recommendations.

⇒    A detailed report with positive behaviour support suggestions to address problematic behaviours.

How long does the exam last ?

The evaluation is conducted in four sessions, with a data collecting duration of 2-4 weeks. This provides a more full view of your child's behaviour patterns across time and in different circumstances. Within two weeks following the final session, a report will be delivered.
